What OS/version of Squeezecenter? Have you done a full clear and rescan (and if so, does the problem remain)?
Are you using any antivirus or firewall software? Are there any error messages in the scanner log (particularly relating to *.myi or *myd files)? (Go to Settings/Status in the webui and there is a link to the log) Are you using iTunes or MIP integration?
