I got my Squeezebox Duet two month ago and I LOVE IT.
I use a semicolon to separate different artists on one track ("B.B.
King; Eric Clapton"). Now there are two problems which occure with the
"multiple items in tags" function in SqueezeCenter:
(1) On the Squeezebox Duet Controller, only the first tag entry is
displayed. When browsing the library the album "Riding with the King"
can be found under both "B.B. King" and "Eric Clapton", but once
playing only "B.B. King" is showed as an artist on the controller. In
SqueezeCenter it's displayed correctly as "B.B. King, Eric Clapton"
(comma separated). Is there a way to make the controller do the same as
SqueezeCenter?
(2) The "multiple items in tags" function doesn't work with MPC files.
A MPC file tagged as "Czech Philharmonic Orchestra; Charles Mackerras"
will produce one single entry in the library which looks like "Czech
Philharmonic Orchestra? Charles Mackerras". When i select this entry on
the Squeezebox Controller it crashes and I have to reboot... Again,
SqueezeCenter doesn't have that kind of difficulties and is playing the
album correctly.
I'm running SqueezeCenter 7.3 - 22998 on a Windows XP SP3 machine.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
