I have this problem as well. SqueezeCenter 7.2 & SB3 clients. I notice that the "Artist1;Artist2" thing works if Artist2 already exists in the database, so it may be some sort of database insert problem. And in that scenario the album will list the track as "by Artist2, Artist1" instead of "Artist1, Artist2". Not sure what's happening there, but it may be the (alphabetical) order that the Artists are read from the database. If that makes sense.
