I have a very similiar problem but I haven't solved it yet...

Some albums are showing up twice. The first instance is perfect - has
the full set of expected songs. The second instance has some subset of
the songs usually in a scrambled order. Sometimes its just one.
Sometimes its most of the songs.

Anyone seen this and solved it?

more detail...

I'm have a Classic SqueezeBox and SqueezeCenter 7.2. All files are FLAC
files hosted on Windows Server 2008 ripped with EAC.

Funny thing is that I think it was perfect once way back when I was
using 6.x versions of slimserver. I only noticed this recently.

This problem shows up on both the Squeezebox UI, the browser UI and
Moose. I also use MediaMonkey (with only read access to the server
share) and it shows everything correctly.

I expect this is a tagging problem. But I've checked with mp3tag (my
usual tagger) and with a utility called "tag" and both indicate there
are only Vorbis tags - no ID3.

There's no embedded artwork.

I've tried removing all tags using MP3TAG and then using undo to
rewrite the tags. Hasn't helped.
