Thanks for the response. It seems a shame - I must have missed something as I just want to use the SB3 as a transport (think that's the right term).
Still, 24-bit is better than 16-bit, so that's a step in the right direction :| So the only option right now for playing high resolution music files (or at least, up to the 24/96 rate supported by my DAC) is to stick a mac mini into the mix and use the USB output. What a kludge!
