Hi Pat Youve guessed Im a dumb (not blone) woman and I cant seen to set up the ip address as u suggested. Ive tried on my server (thru xp) and sb to configure manually but it doesnt seem to connect to the internet or other computers in my network i.e. my laptop. One test I did was to download SC to my laptop copy some FLAC to the laptop and connect my laptop to the SB...perfect ..my flac files streamed no problem. So is this a fault /setting in the router, my network card in my PC server or ???. I have downloaded the most current firmware in bothe the router and SB..(Router= USR 9106 gateway). When I connect the server pc to the router then router to SB thru network cables its worse than the wireless. I have reset the SB to Factory settings and definately its not streaming from wireless. One thing I have noticed is...that when I put the network cable in port 4 of the router then my adsl connection is greatly improved...so is there a fault/setteing with the gateway.
