I know this is more of an Itunes tagging issue, but I know some here use Itunes and might be able to help out.
I have my music like this: K:\Music -> flac files used by SqueezeCenter K:\MP3 -> MP3 versions of the K:\Music flac files, used in Itunes for my Ipod K:\MP3_B -> MP3 files that I don't have flac for. This is used by Squeezecenter and Itunes. I do the above so that all of my music is in SqueezeCenter, but it is also put on my Ipod. My tagging problem is with guest artists. With flac files, if I have an album by "Tricky" but track #11 is a track with Bjork singing, I have Artist and AlbumArtist/Band(TPE2) tags set to Tricky on all tracks except for #11. On #11 AlbumArtist/Band is set to Tricky, but Artist is set to "Tricky;Bjork". Then in SqueezeCenter everything is perfect. But the problem is with Itunes. It will see "Tricky;Bjork" as one artist instead of two different artists on that track. Does anyone know any way around this? I could always just apply this method to the K:\Music dirctory, but since the K:\MP3_B directory is used by Itunes and SqueezeCenter I can't do that for those files.
