OK first off some of the acronyms floating in these forums confuse me. The solution may be staring me in the face but I have missed it till now.
Here is what is happing. 1) I have ripped 95% of my stuff using the Zune software at using a combo of windows media variable bit rate and MPS at best quality. 2) what I have noticed is the CD ripped using the MP# setting does not show any art on the controller, but does on the Zune. 3) In addition some music flat out won't play. Shows up on the controller but won't play, when I go to about info it says it is empty. 4) I can't for the life of me figure out how to use the LAME to improve my quality. The device audio setup says I do not appear to have LAME installed. any help or places I can go to figure out how to fix these things without re-ripping 5500 songs?
