Im having the same problem as KingTubby (KingTubby I dont know if you resolved your problem) but Ive just purchased some iTunes Plus tracks and they wont play on my Duet or Squeezebox Classic, e.g. it appears as though each track is being played but there is no sound.
Ive confirmed that .m4a files work fine because I test ripped one of my own CDs using iTunes and these play fine.
