Most (all?) software treats "YEAR" as "ALBUMYEAR" and as far as I can tell, SqueezeCenter is the same. Basically I'd fill the YEAR tags with the release year of the compilation, not the year the individual song was released, because if not SqueezeCenter, it'll be some other music management software with the same issue.
