For the -release date,- Id advise to use
- -TYER+TDAT- for ID3v2.3
- -TDRC- for ID3v2.4
- -DATE- for Vorbis Comments (FLAC, OGG)
- -Year- for APEv2
- -©day- for iTunes MP4
- -WM/Year- for Windows Media Audio
and for the -original year-
- -TORY- for ID3v2.3
- -TDOR- for ID3v2.4
- -ORIGYEAR- for Vorbis Comments (FLAC, OGG)
- either -Record Date- or -ORIGYEAR- (for easy compatibility) for
APEv2
- probably -----:com.apple.iTunes:ORIGYEAR- (my suggestion) for
iTunes MP4
- -WM/OriginalReleaseYear- for Windows Media Audio
This should be »as standard as can be« while not loosing too much
compatibility.
The next step would be to have SC recognise these
or use CustomTags
in the meantime :-)
