Like Fedder says: there's a lot out there. The only thing we can do is give our own experiences.
I first used Easytag, now I use MP3Tag. Contrary to what the name suggests, this program works great with FLAC=files too. I find it very versatile: it can do all I want. And it has some very handy macro facilities. Search the forum for mp3tag and you will find a lot.
