Hi - I have a library of FLACs which I convert to mp3s for an iPod in my car. For this I use Easy CD-DA which works well. However I have two problems:
(1) the max output of my iPod causes significant distortion in my car, so I need to reduce the max output level by 3 to 6dB. I will lose some dynamic range in the process, but I don't think this is a problem in the car. (2) I listen to a lot of classical music and it would be nice to compress this (i.e. make the quiet bits louder so that I can hear them over the ambient noise in my car) This problem is different to the normal ReplayGain problem. Does anyone have any idea how to do either of these? (1) is more important ... -- rbl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ rbl's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4517 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62495 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
