I have just inherited a large number of CD's, and I want to rip them as
flacs and to take advantage of any stored information out there.I have
seen Musicbrainz/Picard as a combination & the co-operative aspect of it
appeals to me but if it is pop artist based it may not be what I am
looking for.

Currently I use MP3Tag but as most classical fans seem to suggest using
the Artist Tag for Composer, I end up manually editing many tracks.

Also I have many compilation CD's so the same piece is often in more
than one compilation. I would like to search for the pieces, but also I
would like to have the original playing order of the CD's available, s
these CD's are often "Balanced" as to content and mood etc. Other than
creating a playlist for each CD is there a way of achieving this?

Thanks
Peter
