When I was ripping most of my music collection (which is a while back now) I found that specifying the highest compression setting lead to stuttering on my wireless SBs. I never discovered why, but setting to the default value solved the problem.
I only discovered it because I had started with the default, then discovered that I could squeeze a bit more space so changed the setting. Have not experimented since so presume is OK now....
