Just transferred over to dBpoweramp after using EAC for a long time. Tried the demo version and liked it :)
It takes longer to rip the track in secure mode than to encode to FLAC at -8 Not only that, but the encode for the previous track runs at the same time as ripping the next. Tags seem to be pretty good from the database(s), and it fetches the CD cover.
