Jay, Have you tried the forums at the MP3Tag site?
I think that most anything you can come up with has already been discussed there. I have found many solutions via already defined "Actions" posted there. "Action expressions" can be written using variables to make anything happen...it seems. I've got about 12 actions defined that cover all my needs...MP3Tag is one FLEXIBLE piece of software. It's fast and I can send it off to attack all 26,000 tracks at one time - hasn't crashed yet.
