hoping someone can help. Ive been download some hirez files from linn records to checkout the sound quality improvements. I know the transporter can't deal with 24/192 but appears to be reducing these files to 16/44 - at least im assuming this is the case in the player window in my browser says its Converted to 705.6kbps ABR when i play a track. I've also download some 24/88 files, and they get to the transporter with the resolution unalterned (it shows (2680kbps VBR) in the browser window). is there anyway of telling squeezecentre to convert 24/192 only down to an equivalent of 24/96?. Thanks in advance or your help.
