Michael, I put my changes in customconvert.conf so it doesn't get overwritten with an upgrade to the server software (convert.conf IS overwritten). Yes I put my changes into flc * * - it has to go there There is no need to turn it off. If you feed a 24/96 file in, the output is basically unchanged - look at the CPU usage of SOX when playing a 24/96 compared to anything else - you can see that SOX is not doing very much with a 24/96 file if you ask it to resample to 24/96...
