There are taggers with a tag for the number of tracks on a disc. As far as I know, these numbers are not used and there is no 'totaltracks' field in the mySQL-database. It seems to me that the number of tracks is extracted by a SQL-statement (e.g. asking for the number of tracks in a specific album with the same disc number).
