Hi, I've been trying to wrap my head around this one, and searched high and low, but, haven't quite found anything that seems to fit.
So in my example, I've got albums by: ARTIST=Tom Petty ARTISTSORT=Petty, Tom I also have: ARTIST=Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers ARTISTSORT=Petty, Tom And The Heartbreakers For both of those discs, I have COMPLIATION=0, and I also have decided that in terms of seraching, realistically, I'd like to find ALL of those albums under TOM PETTY. So, I've added to both of those discs: ALBUM ARTIST=Tom Petty So my problem is . . . when I search artists in SBS, I get the following results. Under the letter P: (so, it's respecting the ARTIST SORT tags of the individual artists) Tom Petty Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers Under the letter T: (Not sorted by last name, because it's only using the ALBUMARTIST tag) Tom Petty So of course, I could change the ALBUMARTIST tag to =Petty, Tom But then under the P's, I'm going to see: Petty, Tom Tom Petty Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers And that's not desirable either. Am I missing something, or am I misusing the tags? Ideally, I guess the result I am looking for is under the P's: Tom Petty Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers Knowing that if I choose Tom Petty, I'm going to see all his solo work AND his albums done as Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers.
