Thank you for the replies and suggestions!

I am not sure about the tags I have.

I started to rip several years ago my CDs with Audiostation 6 as I had
an Audiotron and between MP3 and Wav, quality choice was obvious for
Wav.

Audiostation used to get tag info from Gracenote.

Tags included artist, album, track name, track order and music style.

Then I bought my Transporter and continued to rip with Audiostation 6
in Wav as music qulity was OK and tags too with slimserver. I started
to include the covert arts with Album Art Downloader. And everything
was OK, covert Art being recognized by Slimserver.

Then I started to rip with Windows Media Player still in Wav as WMP
gave the option to tag already with Covert Art and it worked fine
during 1 year or more, including track order.

And at a certain time ripping with WMP did not include any more track
order which is not acceptable!

I started to rip in EAC first in Wav as I understood that the
alternative of the downloaded program was Wav or MP3. Tags (completed
with Cover Art) were OK for Squeezecenter.

Then after reading the forum I tried the MP3 icon on EAC and discovered
that the Flac option was there!

And clearly tagging in Flac is clearly much better! And music quality
is equal to Wav.

I will now try Flac Frontend, Dbpoweramp or Foobar hoping that the
conversion to Flac will not be dramatic!

Thank you!
Best regards!
