No it doesn't.

Or more accurately it does only if you ask it to. dbPowerAmp has two
DSP effects connected with ReplayGain.

The one called "ReplayGain" calculates the gain values and writes them
to the normal ReplayGain tags. It does not change the audio at all and
is completely reversible (the tags will only get applied at playback if
you want them applied).

The one called "ReplayGain (Apply)" applies the calculated gain to the
audio and is therefore irreversible.
