Hi all, I've decided to re-rip my collection of CD's, the plan is to end up with a FLAC and MP3 version of my CD's. FLAC is for devices in the house (Squeezeboxes and Windows Media Center), the MP3 version is for apple devices (ipad etc).
Looking at responses in this forum I understand people don't like playlists being generated in iTunes. But I do use them, and in particular the dynamic playlist function. What I'm worried about is this dual library thing becoming a big management issue. In particular - keeping playlists in sync, and how I'd do that when the FLAC and MP3 files are in different folders. So how are you managing it? What are your recommendations??
