On weekends our "kitchen server" automatically records some local radio shows via VLC that are aired one or two hours before we get up. Before I owned a SB Radio we listened to them via Winamp. This always worked fine, even if the show was still recorded, as Winamp doesn't bother about the original length and simply continues playing until reaching EOF.
Unfortunately Squeezebox Server DOES bother and stops playing if it reaches 100% of the original file length (respectively plays the next file from the folder). When this happens I have to start playing the same file again and fast forward to the point where the playback stopped before. To force SB Server to re-read the current file length I actually have to go one folder up and enter the recording folder again before playing the file. Is there any way to get my SB Radio to continue playing VLC recorded files until EOF (!) is reached and don't care about the original file length? -- jeas ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jeas's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=785 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=82237 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
