Hi all, I had this issue with various albums that were broken into several albums. Most of the time, they appeared twice but some as much as 5 times. At first, I didn't understand why but a closer look at the tags revealed some differences between the tagging of the tracks. If you have the same problem then have a look at the following tags and make sure that they are consistent for one album / disc:
ALBUM (obviously!) FORMAT (CD, vinyl, MiniDisc etc) DISCNUMBER TOTALDISCS TOTALTRACKS (not entirely sure about this; might be irrelevant) MUSICBRAINZ_ALBUMID The MUSICBRAINZ_ALBMID tag was responsible for a lot of broken albums in my collection, especially in cases where I ripped hidden tracks that were not in the MusicBrainz database.
