I am happy with the new names because I can use the same mapping names

In my opinion it would be a good thing if SBS also would use these
mapping names.....

I also have customized columns, scripts etc. 
And, yes they need to be adjust. But that is not a big job for existing
advanced users. For new users these new mapping names will be more
logical.

As I wrote before.
You can re-configure mp3tag with the "User-defined field mappings"
