Although I avoid it when possible, I occasionally buy music from iTunes. SBS, of course, deals properly with the M4A format.
I use WMP for the (rare) occasions when I listen to music at the computer. It plays M4A files perfectly well, but won't pick them up in the library, for me. If I change the filetype to MP4, no problem. But that's annoying. I'm kind of mystified. I'm using WMP12 and Win7.
