You're really having a hard time getting your head around this, eh?
By numbering the tracks as a whole and placing them into a single
directory, you appear to want to treat them not as multi-disc sets at
all, but treat them as if they came from the same CD. That's fine -
many people do this.
If that's the case, then:
- The 'Group Discs' setting doesn't matter. You don't have multi-disc
sets -if you tag them correctly-.
- All tracks must have the _exact_ same ALBUM name tag. Things like
'Disc 1' or 'CD1' should not be part of the album name.
- Make sure that you have no DISC or DISCNUMBER tag.
- Keep all files from the album in the same directory.
Sounds like you're part way there. My guess is it's either a problem
in the ALBUM name or else you've allowed dbpoweramp to add DISCNUMBER
tags. Just make sure the name is identical on all tracks and remove
any DISCNUMBER tag.
