yep, foobar2000 does conversions just fine. So this is worth a test.
But dbpa also works perfectly for me, so I'm suspecting something odd
is going on. But again, car players tend to have very limited ability
to work with mp3 files for some reason.  Also test with having ONLY
ID3v1 tags to see if this makes a difference.
