Hi,
I've read some threads about tagging and cuesheets, but still can't
figure out what's wrong here. Maybe you guys can help me.
I have ripped my CDs to WAV files using EAC - one file + one cue sheet
per disk. Then I converted them to FLAC files using the Windows
command-line flac binary (I'm testing V. 1.3.1 now). No matter what I
do, it seems Squeezecenter won't read my FLAC's, unless I remove the
tags, which makes the files almost useless. It will show the file in the
web front-end, but I can't click on it to see properties or anything.
I've seen some comments from other users saying they do have
"file-per-disk" FLAC's, and I'm assuming they've got it working with SC
without having to split the files into tracks - please correct me if I'm
wrong.
After investigating a bit about tagging formats, I suspect the cue sheet
is the culprit, but I may be wrong. Anyway, I have examined some tags in
a couple of files, and I'm going to paste a sample here:
