no idea either. Should be the same, but I'm trying to remove variables
to try and see what is causing issue. So I'm thinking you should remove
the variable of rip to WAV then convert to FLAC. Perhaps something is
going on in the 'conversion' stage that is causing the issue.

7.7.5 is latest official version. 7.8.x is very stable community version
