One way to get a count: When you load the library in > Mp3tag, it should show you a file and time total in the lower right > corner.
I couldn't agree more. And I'm embarrassed to say that as a long time mp3tag user, I didn't think of it as a good place to also compare file totals (lower right hand side of screen). So you can scrap my foobar2000 recommendation (although I use it anyhow, because I use it for playback of things on my PC at work, etc.). I just opened my entire collection in mp3tag and it came back as 85,857. Dang, I thought. I should only have 85,856. But I quickly saw (sorting on codec) that mp3tag recognized an mp4 (video) file that I had stored with a related album of audio files. So all matches my total track count in LMS. *Home:* VortexBox 4TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Cottage:* VBA 3TB (2.3) > LMS 7.8 > Touch > Benchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) *Office:* Win7(64) > LMS 7.8 > Squeezelite *Spares:* Touch(3), Radio(3), Boom, SB3, CONTROLLER *Controllers:* iPhone6 & iPadAir2 (iPeng8 & Squeezepad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.8 on Win7(64) laptop *Files:* ripping: dbpoweramp > FLAC; post-rip: mp3tag, PerfectTunes; Streaming: Spotify ------------------------------------------------------------------------ garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=102847 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
