It's been quite a while since I tried it. I seem to recall desktop hangups, i.e. pauses. It wasn't as simple as low transfer speed. I remember searching at the time and finding it seemed to be a well-known problem. I was in a hurry so gave up and looked elsewhere. That was NFSv4 - it may have been better on v3, but my server is only serving v4, so I didn't try that. Apols for the vague memory. If I get a chance to try v4 again I'll report back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ cdmackay's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=24816 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=105457 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
