Another option for ZFS is FreeBSD-based FreeNAS (www.freenas.org). I just met some of the folks at iXsystems (who sells a hardware product based on FreeNAS) at the LISA conference in Boston. We've been using FreeNAS on a 72TB (raw) server for a couple months now with no troubles and lots of flexibility. It's serving as the audio store (via NFS) for all five of our Rivendell workstations (including two that run only rdairplay). I'd be happy to post an overview of our FreeNAS system if anyone's interested. ~David Klann WDRT 91.9fm, Viroqua, WI
