 The easiest way, of course, is to NOT install KDE or QT4 when

 It's a Slackware write-up, but as such it doesn't hide things, like
 most package managers do.
 Listings of what's in Slackware packages is easily found in the asc files
 for the various packages in most any Slackware distro, making it
 fairly easy to adapt to whatever you use.
