Well, that was unexpected. Even with the new driver, the card isn't
recognized.
I'll slip it into a Windows machine and see if I can get it to work there.
Maybe they sent me a defective card; I've never had that happen before,
but there's always a first time for everything.
It doesn't like my Echo Mia card either, so it looks like I'll be using an
old M-Audio Delta 44. I don't like those because even though the card
claims to have balanced ins and outs, the inputs are only pseudo-balanced.

You can find RPMs for the most recent ASI driver at:
http://static.paravelsystems.com/audioscience/centos/7/
N.B. This driver does *not* support cards that have been officially
'end-of-lifed' by AudioScience --e.g. the ASI60xx and ASI61xx series.
Thus, *don't* install it unless the default driver installed by the
initial installation doesn't support your card.
