Well, I'm glad they didn't can that project, can't remember what it's
called, project Guest or something, almost the entire Maxine VM is
written in java except for a C microkernel, to bring the benefits of
Java to Java Platform development. Might be a way to clean out the muck
too. Then of course it could be JRockit on Bare metal they're talking
about too.
Maxine is already open source, don't know if Guest VM made it to open
source, might have missed the boat.
