Matt,
I went through the same thing back in November/December last year. Since
then I've used Rivet in commercial web sites at least twice, and I'm very
pleased with both the learning curve, and the performance. The DIO stuff
was a bit of a mystery, so I hacked up an SQLITE interface which does the
trick quite nicely ...
Apache 1.3.33, and Rivet 1.4? something
I'd like to get back to the 1.5 version, but the configure/make/build
precursors were acting up last time I checked (on FreeBSD at least), and I
did not have time to fix them ... I'll try again soon.
