Someone did mention some incompatibilities in 'DIO' (Richard Dawkins?!;-) but other than that, since I don't use it, I'm pretty happy to follow the list consensus. I think the [var] commands provide the best interface, since you can specify exactly what you want to receive. Speaking of which, you guys should also test the code in question from the point of view of someone being malicious - sending multiple values where one is expected. -- David N.
