First of all many thanks for your work, it is very much appreciated! But I have some remarks, hopefully helpful: After checking the details with "./installer.sh --show layout custom" I chose "./installer.sh --install --layout /root/rkhtest", but my previous version was overwritten. "rkhunter -c" gives: The language specified is not available: en Use the '--list languages' option to see the list of available languages. "rkhunter -c --language en" gives: Default logfile will be used (/var/log/rkhunter.log). The language specified is not available: en My language setting is "en_GB", but choosing that for rkh gives: Invalid option specified: --language=en_GB >The Changelog will indicate what's been changed, the most important >improvements being John's incorporation of hashupd I wonder if it would be possible to add a warning that "--hashupd" should only be run when one is sure that the files to be hashed are safe and have been installed from a reliable source? Otherwise the whole exercise of running rkh could become ambiguous? >If you could find the time to run it once in a while and report >back we would appreciate it very much. So far it's not clear to me how I can run it on my Mandriva Cooker box, but it's entirely possible that I made a mistake somewhere.
