this should not be directly related to r-cran-rcompgen. libRlapack.so was 
indeed removed from the R distribution in Debian/Sid. However, this should be 
detected by the build-system. Please make sure to re-run configure (in the 
case of KDE 3), or remove CMakeCache.txt before building (in the case of KDE 
4). Alternatively start the build in a fresh directory.

I believe this should fix the problem, but if you still have the time to test, 
that would be very reassuring.
