resolved Zip250 mount problems on subsequent reboots after by installing sd.o via the coastool. made a minor change to the bios pnp setup, reserved irq 5 for the isa bus.(needed so that windows could use the sb16 pnp) The interesting thing here is that on reboot this simple change actually disrupts all of PNP doing things like changing the nics irq and all. I feared having to reinstall RL B#20. I was plesantly surprized to find that all went well and RL detected and used all changes w/o intervention! still have the modprobe issue w/block-major-8 and kmem_create nfs_fh issue but since all the parts are working and the I use are all there and working fine I see it as a fairly sound (useable!) setup. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
