I did a mini-demo of UML for the Sept' 04 meeting, but a more in-depth
coverage of UML might be of interest to some people. Have you had a
chance to play with Xen yet? They claim to be 4-5 times faster than UML
with the SKAS patch and allow kernel modules in the guest without a
security risk, and also allow FreeBSD, NetBSD, and (*snort*) Plan9 along
with Linux as a guest.

Also, have you had a chance to play with the VMware 5 beta yet? They've
added some features that I think VMware has needed for ages, such as
multiple snapshot support, AVI screen caps, and streaming USB devices
(like web cams). Also, you can run 64-bit virtual machines, though I
haven't had a chance to reload my Gentoo install with a 64-bit one.
