You sound like the hero for next months meeting! Let me know what you
want to present on (all of those different topics would be great). Don't
burden yourself though! We're supposed to be a laid-back group.

I was thinking in terms of the original 20 minutes for KDE. It is the GUI
that I'm most familiar with. I could follow it with a brief introduction to
Gnome and for the people who are using an older and slower computer there is
FVWM. That will show them a range of options to fit their needs and/or skill
level. I use FVWM when I log in as root and I've played with Gnome some and
could take some time to get more familiar with it before the meeting. By
brief introduction I mean; Here is how you get to it, here is how it works,
here is where the documentation can be found, here is where you set your
preferences. I could do the same with Open Office. Keeping it to the basics I
could cover it in 45 minutes or less and not get into too detailed a
discussion. If someone else volunteers, I'll yield some time to them.Rich
