I have a few computers and parts around here that I'd donate to
whatever's going on. Only problem is it's mostly P1 stuff. Has anyone
played with any of the latest offerings from Vector Linux? It looks like
they have a couple of distros that will work well on older equipment and
still end up with a usable rig. I'm on a dialup so I have no way to DL
and try them out on this end..... Most of the newer mainstream distro's
out now are just a waste of time trying to get them to run on older
hardware like I have over here. When I play with an old box I end up
backtracking to older distro's which ain't that much fun anymore.
I have a bunch of AT cases. A couple of 166's a couple of 200's, misc
hard drives and cpu's. This that and the other thing.... A couple of old
servers.
