Hi All,
I had a customer asking for a program to Sync two hard drives or
computers. He said Ghost wasn't what he was looking for. I thought of
running a script on Linux to do a type of backup as often as he
wanted. He said he had Linux, but hasn't the time to learn it better
right now. He send this feature was pulled out of the latest Vista
Beta. If he wanted more Linux help I would've pitched the group, but
he needed a Windows program. The Business Salesman didn't know of one
either. The customer said The Briefcase feature wouldn't work either.
I looked at the RLUG past discussions on Backup that you presented and
wondered if this Syncing was really possible after all. I can only
think of Syncing as it pertains to attaching a Palm Pilot or USB drive
that has the software built for it already.
Thanks for any pointers to further research,
Joan
