We will have no presentation this month, and we may have a meeting proctor
for half the meeting as I have some school work to do.
On that note, what I'd like to do at this meeting is discuss nominations
for a new RLUG leader. I currently lack the time to manage the group and
feel we would be better off with someone who can devote more resources to
our organization. To clarify: I will not be leaving the group, just
returning to "member" status.
Actually, since many cannot attend the meetings, let's go ahead and start
nominations via the list. If you know someone you think would make a good
leader please let everyone know.
As usual, we will have extra time for short talks or topics this meeting,
so if you have something of interest you're welcome to bring it up! There
will also be the obligatory topic tangents, as well as Q&A and general
discussion time.
As always, we'll head somewhere for beer, food, merriment, and chat after
the meeting.
THE "WHY" PART

The objective of a Linux User Group is to provide a focal point for the
local
Unix community to discuss aspects of the Unix operating system, provide
educational services regarding Unix, maintain a list of Unix savvy
consultants,
and to provide a social environment for Unix users to meet and exchange
ideas.
