I agree with this, and it leads me to the question what happens when you simply press "Play" (which is the way I resume playback -- I almost never use the "resume playback" entry nor do I pay attention to it at all). If that still shows the splash "nothing to resume", how is that an improvement? And just for the record, I never was annoyed or frustrated by the splash. Having it disappear by the first button press would be nice though, and most likely a much better solution. At least IMO. - Dominik
