Im 2. Teil der Ausstellungsreihe geht es vor allem um die ästhetischen
Abfall- und Zufalls-Produkte, die sich aus der Überfülle von
Bildinformation ergeben. Im Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit stehen all
diejenigen Überlagerungen von Informationen, die nur noch als Rauschen
wahrnehmbar sind – sowohl visuell als auch akustisch. Von besonderem
Interesse sind hier die künstlerischen Ansätze, die sich experimentell
darum bemühen, Information aus dem Rauschen zurückzugewinnen – ein an
sich unmögliches Unterfangen; zu leisten nur mit den Mitteln der
Parapsychologie, der Psychedelik oder der Poesie ...
Part 2 of the exhibition series is concerned mainly with the junk and
random products resulting from the overload of visual information. The
focus of attention is on all the overlapping, superimposed information
our visual and acoustic senses are only capable of perceiving as just
signal noise. Those artistic approaches that seek to retrieve
information from this noise by means of experimentation are of
particular interest in this context. A seemingly impossible task, and
one that can only be undertaken using the methods of parapsychology,
pyschedelia or poetry ...
